The
view from the top
To the
right (west) of the temple you will find a small (2m)
hill of rocks from the top of which you can get a first
wonderful view of the lakes and garden that you will
visit after descending.
The 17
arch bridge can be seen from the hilltop
- and also Beijing's TV Tower in the distance.
You will also see the top of the large
tower called 'The Pavilion of Buddhist Fragrance'. And
like many before you, you can take your photo perched on
the top of these rocks ...
Now
proceed right, down the hill in the direction of the
distant mountains (that is, west).
