The 798 'Art Factory' is actually a reincarnation of a large multi-factory site. The old industrial units are now emerging as galleries, studios, bookshops, installations, workshops and cafes. The area is in DaShanZi in north east Beijing (beyond the 4th ringroad). Take a bus or taxi from DongZhiMen subway.
